Margi grew up in New Orleans, spent summers in Maine, and graduated from Brown
University with a degree in Latin (very helpful with crossword puzzles). Her serious travel
started as an au pair in Tangier. After teaching kindergarten and working with Art Buchwald in
Washington, her real estate career brought her to St Croix, where after working with hotels and
car rental companies, she finally settled in the travel agency arena in 1979. She often says that
Travel Desk is her final destination.

Rosie is a newcomer to Travel Desk, but certainly not to the industry with 23yrs in the travel
industry. She has worked as an agent specializing in domestic and international, corporate,
and leisure travel, and in customer service. Administratively, she's been a travel instructor,
supervisor, and manager. Her travel interests and expertise include the US, Mexico, Caribbean
and Europe. She's also an art enthusiast and animal lover who previously owned a 20-year
old, one and a half foot fresh water shark who is 20yrs old.

Cindy is the resident wedding specialist and webmaster. Born in Canada, raised in New
England, Cindy moved to St. Croix in 2001 and spends time here and in Massachusetts. Her
specialties include Destination Management and group travel arrangements for destination
weddings and corporate events in the US Virgin Islands. Contact Cindy for information on

Rama was born and raised in Haifa, Israel. She moved to St. Croix in 1987 with her husband
and three children. In 1992, while raising her family, she started working in the travel industry.
She has travelled with her family throughout Europe, Israel, the Baltic capitals, Alaska and on
numerous Caribbean cruises. Rama is fluent in English and Hebrew, loves to cook and
spend time with her family.

With over 25 years of experience Charlotte has provided travellers the opportunity to explore
many diverse locations such as East Africa, Russia, Turkey, Greece, South America, and
Central and North America. She has also provided travellers with opportunity to visit special
locales such as Easter Island, China, Belize, and the Dominican Republic. Charlotte began
her career in Texas and moved eastward until she moved to St. Croix in 1995. She is an
authentic food enthusiast, an avid reader, and has compassion for animals of all kind.

Lee has been with Travel Desk for , as she would say, about 75 years....Not true of course, but
in the industry for 30 years. She is well travelled, having grown up in England, knows Europe,
particularly Spain and Portugal and has enjoyed most islands throughout the Caribbean. Lee
loves selling cruises, knows all of the ships and can fit her clients with the sailing most suited
for their tastes. Lee has a wonderful sense of humor, and is a great songstress.

Hai was born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam. After moving to the US she moved around a bit
living in New Hampshire; then Tai Pei, Taiwan; San Juan, Puerto Rico; finally moving to St.
Croix in 1984. Hai graduated from the Garber Travel School in Boston, Ma in 1980 and has
worked as a travel agent ever since. Her expertise is primarily in International Travel with a
specialty in group tours and cruises and extended holidays (1-3 months). She is proud to
offer her clients personal service and excels at being available, capable and reliable. She is
also a fantastic cook and we all bring our appetites when she whips up pho (Vietnamese
soup) or her famous spring rolls. Hai's passions include bible study, cooking and travel. She
is fluent in English and Vietnamese.

Linda Wendt’s home town is Lexington, Massachusetts where Paul Revere still rides into town
every April 19th. Her introduction to the travel business began with The Somerset Hotel in
Boston. From the hotel business to the travel agency business with long stops at Chestnut Hill
Travel and Wolfe Travel also in Boston. She started her travel south to St Croix with a
wonderful three year layover in Charleston South Carolina. Always dreaming about the
Caribbean,she and her husband Bill arrived on St Croix in 1993 where Linda found her seat at
Travel Desk waiting. Linda’s travels include the United States, Europe , Mexico and the
Caribbean. Interests throughout her life have included skiing, cooking, and gardening and
dogs – and maybe a cat or two.

Augusta was born in Nevis and moved to St Croix in 1972. She has worked in the travel
industry for 16 years, the last year in accounting which gives her a well rounded perspective of
travel arrangements. She does quality control of the ticketing and keeps the agents on their
toes, or else!
